Building Project week 24 (finish 22 May!)

Plasterboard is starting to go up all over the place at the moment. The toilet cubicles are all complete and the exposed breeze blocks on McColls wall are now covered. The paving along the front walkway is being laid and work continues on the roof. This week we have also looked at Radiators and their feeds, ventilation systems and how to route them through the roof cavity, fire alarms installed, which areas of the church have to be locked off with the same keys, and working with Harrogate Planning about what signs we can put on the new entrance way. Colours for Radiators have to be decided on and a new master fuse box put in place and integrated with the existing system. Last weekend we had specialists in to remove the grime on the outside wall of the church but more needs to be done. This week also sees our Quiz night and plans are being put in place for an enormous Fundraiser with Football stars on 22 May. Starbeck Grants have awarded us £ 1720 towards furniture for the new building and we received £ 3000 grant money from the George Martin Trust. Thanks to all people who are supporting us.VLUU L200 / Samsung L200 blogweek24.3 VLUU L200 / Samsung L200 VLUU L200 / Samsung L200 VLUU L200 / Samsung L200 VLUU L200 / Samsung L200 VLUU L200 / Samsung L200
