This last week has seen a lot of frenetec activity as the Builders honoured their promise to get the new extension ready for the Wedding on 07 June – and they did. Final coats of paint, toilet roll holders, tarmac, cleaning were all done. The new glass doors arrived on the Wednesday and the building passed by the building control officer as useable. On Tuesday we had a great Church activity called THE BIG CLEAN. Lots of people – young old and even someone in a wheelchair arrived to help and the church and the extension looked superb for the first activity. Dan and Kristina’s wedding. The sun shone, activity was seen along the front of the church as guests poured into the new doorways and the traffic flows and serving teas and coffees worked splendidly. Just a few snagging issues to look at, hand rails to make it H and S compliant and an opening ceremony to fix up (Probably September). Thanks for reading ths blog over the past 29 weeks and now it’s all done.
