Schools ministry
We have strong connections with Starbeck Community Primary School, providing regular assemblies and hosting events such as the Christmas Carol Service. We run a number of ‘Sanctuary’ prayer space events each year in the school and the church, supporting RE and children’s spiritual development. We also have a weekly Prayer Club in school, where children are encouraged to pray for themselves, their families, their community and the wider world through crafts, games and interactive prayers. We use the Bible as a basis for exploring themes of friendship, self-worth, community and overcoming everyday challenges.
